Stir-Fried Boy Choy With Button Mushroom


Ingredients : 

Bok Choy
Button Mushroom
Dried Shrimp
Garlic
Salt & Soya Sauce
Oil

Method :

1) Heat oil in a wok, add in the dried shrimp and garlic stir fry until fragrant.
2) Then stir in the button mushroom for a few seconds and add in boy choy 
    saute for afew minutes.
3) Lastly Add some salt & soya sauce to taste.

Stir-Fried Bitter Gourd With Prawn & Eggs



Ingredient :
1 bitter gourd
6-8 medium prawn (shelled and cut into small piece)
1 egg
5-6 garlic cloves
Salt and pepper

Method :
1) Heat a wok with 1 table spoon of oil and saute the garlic until fragrant.
2) Add in bittergourd and stir fry to half done.
3) And add in the prawn, some water and let it simmer for 3 minutes.
4) Then add in egg, salt, pepper and stir until it done. Disk up and serve.

Fried Onion






Fried onion is commonly used at my home and i prefer to fry by myself
than buying from outside. Even though peeling the skin of the onion is quite an
difficult task and it will make me burst to tears.

Stir Fry Spicy Stingray



Ingredient : 
400g stingray (Cut into pieces)
1 inch ginger (Shredded)
4 cloves garlic (Minced)
5-6 small honey tomatoes (Sliced)
1 Chilli (Sliced)
2 tbsp chilli paste
Salt to taste
Sugar to taste
Some coriander leave

Method :
1) Heat oil in wok, saute ginger & garlic till fragrant and add in chilli paste
    saute for a few second.
2) Then add in tomatoes, chilli and stingray meat and stir fry till the meat
    change colour.
3) And now add in some water, salt & sugar and simmer for 5mins
    on high heat.
4) Add in coriander leaves, dishing up and serve hot with rice.

Fried Chicken

Winter Melon Soup




Ingredient :
400g Winter Melon
250g Pork Ribs
Half Carrot (Peeled and cut to small chunks)
10 Dried Pitted Red Dates
4-5 Dried Scallops
1.5 Litres Water

Seasoning :
Salt

Method :
1) Blanch pork ribs in boiling water for about 5minutes, to remove
     the dirty bits and rinse blanched pork pieces and set aside.
2) Place 1.5 litres of water into a pot and bring it to boil then add in
     all the ingredient and let it boil again for another 5-10 minutes.
3) Then simmer the soup over low heat for 45 minutes.
     Season with salt before serving.

Sesame Oil Chicken




Ingredient :
500g chicken (chopped into pieces)
10 hard-boiled bird eggs
20 button mushroom (Can) 
4 shittake mushroom (Sliced)
1 small piece of ginger (Sliced into thin stripes)
3-4 garlic cloves (Minced)

Seasoning :
1 tbsp oyster sauce
2 tbsp dark soya sauce
1 tsp sugar
2.5 tbsp sesame oil
1 cup of water

Garnishing :
Spring Onion
Red Chilli

Method :
1) Marinade the chicken pieces with seasoning (except water) for at least
    30mins.
2) Heat the wok with 2tbsp of sesame oil.
3) When the wok is hot, add in the ginger strips and garlic stir-fry until it
     fragrant.
4) Add in the marinade chicken parts and stir-fry for a few second until the
     colour of the chicken pieces change.
5) And then add in both button & shittake mushrooms and water until it boil.
6) Cover up, lower the heat and simmer until the gravy is thicken.
7) Add in hard-boiled bird eggs.
8) Season it with salt to taste. Dish up and serve hot.

Stir Fried Spinach




The ingredient for this dish are spinach, ikan bilis and garlic and it is a very simple dish. All you need is heat up your wok with one table spoon of cooking oil and saute garlic & ikan bilis until fragrant. Then add in the spinach stir fry for a few minutes with salt and pepper and serve with rice.

This dish will find at my mum dining table almost everyday. She will cook it for her grand-children and they like it so much. So i give it a try and it turn out not that bad. My husband like it too. Ingredient for this dish are pork, eggs, dried beancurd stick, garlic, black sauce and sugar.

Stir Fried Kang Kong With Prawn




Ingredient for this dish are kang kong, prawn and garlic and seasoning are oyster sauce and pepper.
Pre-heat a wok with 1 table spoon of oil and saute the garlic until fragrant. Add in prawn stir fry till half done, then add in kang kong and stir fry for a few minutes with oyster sauce and pepper.

Braised Duck with black sauce


This braised duck with black sauce was taught by my mum and it is a very popular dish among our relatives. Especially during CNY this dish is a must cooked dish whenever we have a gathering at my mum place. 

Pork Belly Soup With White Pepper


The ingredient for this soup are pork belly, white pepper, chicken drumstick, mushroom, dried scallop and garlic. All you have to do is put all the ingredient into pork belly and place it into a pot with about 1.5 litres of boiling water. Simmer on medium heat for about 15 minutes then transfer to slow-cooker and simmer on auto heat for 2-3hours.

Chicken With Black Fungus & Fish Maw




The ingredient for this dish are chicken meat, fish maw, black fungus, mushroom, red chilli, spring onion and garlic. All you need stir fried all ingredient together except spring onion and seasoning with abit of salt, pepper and soya sauce. And lastly add in spring onion while it is still hot.


Bitter Gourd With Black Bean Sauce




The ingredient for this dish are bitter gourd, chicken breast meat, red chilli, deep fry beancurd stick and some garlic. Oh ya! almost forget the black bean sauce. Stir fried all ingredient together with black bean sauce and some pepper.

Fish Steamboat



This dish usually find in coffee shop and hawker centre. Last saturday i cooked this fish steamboat for my family. It is not that difficult to cooked and just put everything in one pot. The soup base is make by ikan bilis and soya beans. Actually the main ingredient is the fish and for the other ingredient you can change what every you like.

Stir Fried Beansprout




This dish is simple and delicious and you can either eat it with rice or porridge. Beansprout is very nutritious food. It is easily get from the market and moreover it is cheap so eat as many as you can. 

Macaroni With Chicken & Abalone Soup






This is one of my husband favorite dish and it has been quite sometime i did not cook this macaroni soup for him. Due to the ingredient are not cheap as you can see from the picture so we can only eat this dish once in a while. Haha....

Fried Rice




Last night i cooked myself some fried rice by using the left over white rice and some ingredient which i found inside my fridge. It taste good.

Stir-Fried Okra With Dried Shrimps





Stir-fried okra is normally appeared on most families dining table but not everyone like it. Just like one of my friend, she don't like the taste and hate it very much.

Steamed Prawn With Garlic





Surprisingly the taste of this steamed prawn turn out to be nice and tasty. Usually i will baked it with butter but this round i steamed it with rice wine and sesame oil instead.
